Sıcak haddelenmiş çelik, yüksek sıcaklıkta şekillendirilerek üretilir. Parlak çelik ise çoğunlukla sıcak haddelenmiş malzemenin soğuk çekme, taşlama veya kabuk soyma gibi ek işlemlerden geçirilmesiyle daha hassas ölçü ve yüzey özelliklerine ulaştırılır.
