Successful Production of Free-Cutting Steel at Hasçelik Steel Plant

Following the successful casting process at our steel plant, hot-rolling trials of our 11SMn30 (1.0715) quality steel billets produced in various diameter ranges have been successfully completed. Mechanical, microstructural, and surface inspections carried out by our quality control departments resulted in positive outcomes across all evaluation stages, concluding the process successfully.

Standing out with its high machinability, 11SMn30 free-cutting steel is a preferred grade in critical sectors such as automotive, machinery manufacturing, and fastener production. This significant production step not only provides our customers with a level of quality assurance beyond expectations but also strategically strengthens our existing product portfolio.
