Hasçelik Organized a Technical Training Program within the Scope of Its New Steelmaking Investment

Aligned with one of our most strategic initiatives the new steelmaking investment that strengthens Hasçelik’s expertise in steel production and elevates our growing manufacturing capacity a dedicated technical training program was held to enhance the technical knowledge of our field teams.

The two-phase comprehensive training program took place on June 14–15 and June 28–29, with participation from our Regional Sales, Export, Corporate Sales and S&OP teams.

Throughout the program, participants gained in-depth knowledge in the following areas:

Steelmaking processes, steel groups and the effects of heat treatment

Impact of chemical composition on mechanical test results

Destructive and non-destructive testing methods

Customer specifications and PPAP processes

Hot and cold rolling processes as well as dimensional tolerances

Core quality system principles under ISO 16949

The program was enriched with factory tours, interactive presentations and practical sessions, including “Steel Talks”, providing participants with a multifaceted learning experience.

Participants had the opportunity to observe production processes on site, gain deeper technical insights into product groups, conduct detailed process analyses and enhance their ability to respond more effectively to customer requirements.
