Hasçelik officially inaugurated its new Osmaneli Steel Plant, equipped with Turkey’s most advanced technologies, on October 3, 2025.
The opening ceremony was held with great enthusiasm, attended by Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, Bilecik Governor Faik Oktay Sözer, and leading representatives of the steel industry.
During the event, nearly 500 guests witnessed this strategic investment that pioneers Hasçelik’s “green steel” vision. Following the ceremony, Minister Kacır and Governor Sözer toured the production areas, examining the plant’s cutting-edge technologies on site.
The new steel plant, featuring Consteel® Evolution technology, a closed casting system, and other innovative production applications, is set to add significant value to Turkish industry with its focus on energy efficiency and sustainability.
Designed in line with Hasçelik’s environmentally friendly production goals, the facility is poised to become one of the leading centers of green steel production in Turkey.
