Hasçelik Successfully Completed Trial Production of Steels with Hasprime Products

Hasçelik has successfully completed the trial production of steels, leveraging its modern steel plant infrastructure and advanced production technologies.

The steels produced by vacuum closed casting were tested in the following grades:
16MnCr5 | 16MnCrS5 | 20MnCr5 | 20MnCrS5

The produced billets were rolled in our hot rolling mill and converted into Hasprime-branded products. The products demonstrated their superior performance through comprehensive tests conducted by our quality department.

These tests were carried out on round products with a diameter range of Ø 19 – 80 mm in accordance with the TS EN ISO 9443 standard. The products underwent 100% surface crack inspection, and internal defect controls were meticulously performed using ultrasonic testing for flaw diameters up to 1 mm equivalent. Additionally, final quality checks were completed through operations such as face turning, chamfering, laser diameter inspection, and mix-up control (chemical composition verification). In this way, the final tests of products produced by vacuum closed-die casting after the hot rolling process were successfully approved by our quality units.

The vacuum and closed-die casting method enables the production of steels with a homogeneous microstructure and high strength, meeting international standards. This ensures that our customers receive high-quality and qualified materials that can be reliably used in critical applications.
