"Knowing how to be happy with the little things is the key to true peace."

Every success carries a strong story behind it. Here are glimpses from the lives of our valued colleagues at Hasçelik—their passion for their professions and their journeys toward success. In this series, we have the opportunity to get to know our coworkers more closely as they share their business experiences, sources of motivation, and personal goals with us.

Today, we are with Tuğba Eren, who has been working as a business analyst at Hasçelik for five years and shares sincere insights about both her work and life. Welcome to our enjoyable conversation that spans business processes, teamwork, personal development, and motivation.

Could you briefly introduce yourself?

I was born in Ankara in 1994. After completing high school in Ankara, I graduated from the Industrial Engineering department at Kocaeli University. Since my university years, I have been living and building my career in Kocaeli. For the past five years, I have been working as a business analyst at Hasçelik.

I am someone who enjoys both working and having fun. I have a particular interest in Pilates; recently, I have taken this passion a step further by starting to train as a Pilates instructor.

What do you love most about your job?

"Creating solutions with data is my greatest passion."

When analyzing business processes, listening to and understanding the needs of departments and developing data-driven, concrete solutions truly motivates me. The fact that the results are clear and measurable increases my commitment to my work.

I believe being a good business analyst is not limited to technical knowledge alone. Strong communication skills and a solution-oriented approach are just as important as technical expertise. Being able to maintain this balance makes me love my job more each day.

What motivates you to go to work every day?

"Passion and a supportive team are the path to success."

Loving my work life is a motivation source by itself. The passion I have for my job allows me to start each day with joy. Especially the team I’m part of combines professionalism and sincerity at the same time.

A supportive team, working toward shared goals, and creating value together mean a lot to me. Being productive, delivering results, and seeing the outcomes reinforce this motivation.

What does your team mean to you?

"A shared vision and trust are the foundation of being a team."

Working with a wonderful team brings me great happiness. I believe being a team is not just about dividing tasks but sharing a common vision.

Being valued and valuing others within the team increases mutual trust. This directly impacts the quality of work and happiness in the workplace. Creating in such an environment is both more enjoyable and more efficient.

What advice would you give to your young colleagues?

"Don’t be afraid to make mistakes; stay open to learning."

First and foremost, they should not fear making mistakes. Every mistake is a great opportunity for personal growth. Challenges are part of life, but it should be remembered that they are temporary. With love, hope, and clear goals, these challenges can be overcome.

Being open to learning, persevering in work, and being patient are very important. Effort will certainly pay off one day. Also, maintaining communication with people they meet and consciously expanding their network will provide a great advantage in their careers.

A phrase that best describes your profession

"First impressions are lasting impressions."

What is your proudest moment in your professional life?

"A proud journey from the first job offer to successful projects."

I will never forget the happiness I felt when I received my first job offer call. Over time, I had the chance to participate in many projects. Seeing the results of these projects, knowing I contributed, and being appreciated always made me very happy.

We carry out project-based work in the IT department. Seeing the solutions developed at the end of projects actively used within the company provides great satisfaction. Also, I recently celebrated my 5th year at Hasçelik, and the award ceremony held for this milestone was an unforgettable moment for me.

If you could thank someone here today, who would it be?

"The hero behind my success: my teacher, Mr. Cumhur."

My teachers have held a very special place in my life. I especially want to thank my high school math teacher, Mr. Cumhur, from the bottom of my heart. He didn’t just make us love the subject; he guided and mentored us. He cared for his students individually, and we are still in touch. He has had a huge impact on me.

What is the most important life lesson you learned from your family?

"A journey nurtured by trust and support."

My family has always been my greatest supporter. They fully supported my decision to move from Ankara to Kocaeli without hesitation. This support increased my self-confidence. With their support, I took a step into a new life, which was very valuable to me. The greatest strength in life is having a family standing behind you.

If you could send a message to yourself years from now, what would it be?

"Use your time wisely, find happiness in the details."

Time is the most precious thing we have. Using it in the best way possible is the fundamental way to make one’s life meaningful. We should spend time with our loved ones and learn to be happy with small things because happiness is often hidden in the details.
