During the event at Marmara University, Mert Karakaya, the Hot Rolling Production Manager of Hasçelik, shared his extensive knowledge and experiences on steel production and industrial applications with young engineering candidates. This event was organized within the framework of the collaboration between Hasçelik, Marmara University, and Faydasıçok Foundation.
A Strong Link Between Industry and Education: Hasçelik – Marmara University Partnership
At Hasçelik, we value the integration of education and industry and emphasize the importance of students becoming familiar with the business world early on. This collaboration with Marmara University not only supports theoretical education but also offers students the opportunity to learn the latest information in the steel industry firsthand. Mert Karakaya answered students' questions on a wide range of topics, from hot rolling processes and production techniques to technological advancements in the steel industry and quality management processes, providing them with an inspiring perspective.

At Hasçelik, we take great pride in mentoring students and sharing our knowledge with them on our journey to train future industry leaders. As one of Turkey's leading steel producers, we aim to provide students with industrial experience and introduce them to our sector. We believe that the events held within the Hasçelik-Marmara University collaboration will inspire young engineering candidates and prepare them for their future careers.
Moving Forward with the Educational Support of Faydasıçok Foundation
This project, carried out with the support of Faydasıçok Foundation, is part of our social responsibility approach and continues to add value to society. Through our educational support, we help young people not only gain theoretical knowledge but also acquire the practical skills required by the industry. The Foundation’s support for such events contributes to advancing industry and education collaborations in our country and promoting the creation of qualified human resources.
This valuable event helped young engineering candidates gain comprehensive knowledge about the steel industry and is a significant step in preparing them for their future professional careers. We will continue to guide the young engineers of tomorrow, who will contribute to the future of Turkey.
